Adding Credits
This covers topping up your credit balance — once by hand, or automatically whenever it runs low. It is not about what the balance is spent on; that is How Billing and Credits Work.
What it costs
Nothing extra — what you pay is what lands on the balance
How long
A minute, with a card already saved
Have ready
Confirmed email, a verified dealership, and permission to add credits
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”Nothing on top. Credits are a prepaid dollar balance, so the amount you pay is the amount that lands on the balance — there is no fee, no markup and no expiry.
There is a small minimum purchase. If you type less than it, the page says so and names the figure, so this article does not repeat it.
Step by step
Section titled “Step by step”1. Open the Credits page
Section titled “1. Open the Credits page”Either click the balance in the top bar of the dashboard, or go to Settings → Billing → Credits.
Available credits
Auto-Refill Credits
Automatically add credits when your balance falls below a certain threshold.
Payment Methods
The cards and bank accounts we can charge when you add credits.
History
Receipts for what you have paid, and where your credits went.
2. Choose an amount
Section titled “2. Choose an amount”Click Add credits. On the Add Credits page, pick one of the Quick Amount buttons or type your own under Custom Amount, then click Continue.
3. Pay
Section titled “3. Pay”Pick one of your saved cards or bank accounts, or click Add New Method to use a new one. Then click Pay Now.
4. Check the balance
Section titled “4. Check the balance”You come back to the Credits page and the balance updates. Both card and bank payments land right away — a bank transfer still takes a few business days to actually clear with your bank, but we credit the balance up front so you are not held up waiting on it.
Topping up automatically
Section titled “Topping up automatically”The same Credits page has an Auto-Refill Credits card. Switch on Enable Auto-Refill, set:
- Refill when balance is below ($) — the point at which we top you up.
- Refill amount ($) — how much to add each time.
then click Save.
Auto-refill charges your default payment method, so you must have one set. If you do not, the card says so rather than failing quietly later. Any saved method can be made the default from the Payment Methods list further down the same page.
Set the refill amount to cover a normal day’s work, not the minimum. The point is that a registration never stops halfway because the balance ran dry.
Topping up in the middle of something
Section titled “Topping up in the middle of something”If an action needs more credit than you have, the app stops and offers to add it right there, without losing the screen you were on. Pick an amount, pay, and click Close and continue.
It does not retry the action for you — you click the button again yourself once the balance is in.
If it will not let you continue
Section titled “If it will not let you continue”| What it says | Where it is fixed |
|---|---|
| Please confirm your email before purchasing credits | Click the link in the confirmation email sent when your account was created. If you cannot find it, ask Support to send it again |
| Please verify your business to add credits | Verifying Dealer License and Business Information |
| You do not have permission to add credits | An account admin changes it in Settings → Users |
| No default payment method (auto-refill) | Set one in the Payment Methods list on the Credits page |
| Minimum amount is … | Enter at least the figure named in the message |
After you finish
Section titled “After you finish”Every top-up appears under Settings → Billing → Payment History, which is your receipts for money paid to us. What the balance was then spent on is a different list — Viewing and Understanding Transactions explains how to read it.
